The idea came after visiting a vast bird sanctuary in Iguazu, Brazil. Among the many birds, one giant parrot stood out — calm, intelligent, completely present. Later I imagined her in flight, carrying a girl gently on her wing. Not rushing anywhere. Not escaping. Simply moving through the open sky.
This painting explores motion without effort — the quiet joy of being carried by the moment itself. There is no destination here, only a soft “yes” to life, breath, and distance.
