About the artwork
The idea came to me in Viña del Mar, Chile. Near the shore I saw a giant fish washed up by the tide — a strange, quiet image that felt both powerful and mysterious. Instead of seeing an ending, I imagined a transformation. In the painting, the fish grows wings and becomes a vessel carrying a girl gently through the calm blue sky.
This work reflects the quiet power of surrender. The girl does not control the movement — she simply rests and allows herself to be carried.
