LE CHAT (Green Study) is one of two small preparatory works created before the larger painting Le Chat. While the white study holds quiet stillness, this green version carries the first spark of life and play.
Inspired by my cat Lyosha, the green figure embodies calm vitality — the gentle energy that lives inside affection. Green becomes a color of balance and warmth, turning the cat into a quiet guardian whose presence makes ordinary moments feel lighter and more alive.
