About the artwork
This work was born as a quiet closing note to a round-the-world journey that both began and ended in Dubai. As the months passed and the map kept expanding, one feeling became clearer: home is not only a place — it is the state of being held by love.

In this painting, four winged camels fly above Dubai, carrying not urgency, but ease. On the back of the largest camel sits a couple, calm and fully at rest in each other’s presence.

The silhouette of Burj Khalifa appears at the edge of the composition not simply as a landmark, but as a sign of a city that became home. The figures are intentionally left without specific identity, allowing the work to speak not about one particular relationship, but about a shared state — the quiet certainty of belonging together.
