About the artwork
This image was born in Bora Bora, while snorkeling. Beneath the water, giant manta rays appeared — quiet, mesmerizing creatures with a wingspan of almost five meters. The color of the water was exactly like this: deep, clear, and almost unreal blue. In that moment, a rare sense of peace arose: next to something so vast and powerful, there was no need to tense up — only to relax.

A couple flying on the backs of manta rays. Here, the manta rays become an image of soft strength — the kind that can hold, guide, and create a sense of safety. The figures of the couple are intentionally deprived of specific identity: faceless and painted in unreal colors, they allow the viewer to see in them any close union — a relationship in which one can finally exhale.
